There has been a grant awarded for the Club to purchase a digital projector, laptop computer and all the accompanying ancillaries, including software, speakers, extension leads.

This will be made available to produce training sessions, show members' work and for use at public shows. Its acquisition does not preclude its use by conventional photographers, as the Club already has the facilities to scan and digitise conventional prints and slides. The existing projector will be retained at present for members who wish to view their work in a conventional manner.

The laptop and ancillaries are still under consideration.

With grant Assistance from The Dales Festival of Food and Drink surplus the Club has acquired a Toshiba lap top with Adobe Elements for image editing, Pictures to exe for making audio visual shows, and Audacity for adding sound tracks.

The new equipment will be available to members as well as being used to support learning more about photography at several of our Monday Evening meetings.
